The ABOHN Employer Recognition Award is awarded each year to a company that demonstrates support and encouragement for the personal and professional development of the certified Occupational Health Nurses that they employ. The award recipient demonstrated that it recognizes the value that certification brings to its organization and acknowledges the OHN’s contributions in a variety of ways.
This year, we are pleased to present the prestigious ABOHN Employer Recognition Award to:
Premise Health
Premise Health is the world's leading direct healthcare provider and one of the largest digital providers in the country, serving over 11 million eligible lives across more than 2,500 of the largest commercial and municipal employers in the U.S. Premise partners with its clients to offer fully connected care – in person and in the digital environment. It operates more than 800 onsite and nearsite wellness centers in 45 states and Guam, delivering care through the Digital Wellness Center and onsite, nearsite, mobile, and event solutions. Premise delivers value by simplifying complexity and breaking down barriers to give diverse member populations access to convenient, integrated, high-quality care. Premise offers more than 30 products, delivering the breadth and depth of care required to serve organizations' total populations. The result is healthcare that meets the needs of members and their families, helping them live healthier while lowering costs for organizations. Premise Health is a very worthy recipient of the ABOHN Employer Recognition award due to its sustained support of their occupational health nurses which includes support of the ABOHN credentials.
ABOHN received the submission from not one, but FIVE! ABOHN board certified OHNs!
- Lori Knowlton COHN-S/CM
- Matt Hale, COHN-S
- Kristine Cafferky COHN-S
- Beck Garcia, COHN-S and
- Lara Spaulding, COHN-S
In the application, it was evident that certification is encouraged and supported both monetarily and philosophically. Premise Health routinely supports their OHN's by granting funds to attend the AAOHN conferences, reimburses the costs of certification prep classes, application, exam, and maintenance fees as well as offers a slew of continuing education courses.
Premise Health proudly recognizes their OHNs company wide, in their monthly newsletter "The Beat" and through their "Praise" program on their Teams platform.
Once again, thank you to Premise Health for your support of occupational health nursing.
